Urban Spatial Policy
Spring Semester, Wednesdays 10:50-12:30
This course provides the basic knowledge about the urban and regional spatial planning policy. In particular, the course will discuss urban and regional planning systems in Japan, theory and history of urban planning, current issues in urban planning, and innovative planning practice of today. In order to familiarize students with the urban developments in the Kanto region, we will organize two site visits to learn about the physical designs of urban and regional developments.
